My new favorite piece...for David's new house is titled:
Nobody Told Me.
A few new pieces that have been added.....
This makes a decent example of a "before" image. Something like this could be turned around and around until something jumps out at the artist. A few tweaks, and it could be defined, or just left on it's own--abstract, it has pleasing lines and textures. Maybe someone might see the profile image of a human face, or perhaps curved lines that might be wings.. it's whatever the artist sees and defines, or doesn't define and what the viewer sees.
A Sample Projects for Class
A pair of pears found in the studio. One created in a triadic color scheme and the other using a textured technique.
Use of a pear that was created with soft pastels then collaged into a collagraph and framed.

These projects are created using gaouache and india ink in a three step process.
Rooster in Sepia, Rooster in Graphite and Rooster in Oil are three examples of the variety of mediums that will be used in the older youth and adult classes. I kept the graphite Rooster for myself. The sepia and oil rooster are sold.
